Egypt trains an average of 14 hours a week in the core genres of dance; modern, jazz, lyrical, TAP and ballet at her home studio ZD Dance Academy in Hyattsville, MD under the direction of Mone't Landis. Egypt is also a member of SoleTalk an elite tap group comprised of youth tappers from all over the US.
Egypt Skye started out dancing as a form of therapy. Still not speaking in public at the age of 4 her mother sought out dance, who would have thought that dance would be the unconventional remedy for her speech issues. When Egypt is dancing or plucking at her purple Violin strings she is in her books. Egypt loves science and enjoys volunteering with Botz for Tots, a STEAM based Non-Profit founded by her brother. Egypt has a younger sister and they have a very unusual bond. They argue all the time but can't stand to be away from each other. When they aren't arguing they are selling lipsticks and lip gloss from their own make up line, E.Skye Cosmetics vegan lip wear for every occasion. Egypt is a mini Mogul attempting to take the world by storm while looking fabulous.
